Did your failures in the pics happen on an aftermarket magazine? What capacity and brand are the aftermarket magazines?

I've had many complaints about slide lock issues simply because people weren't holding the gun. Tightly in there hand make sure you don't have a wimpy grip on the gun.

It would happen with both Aftermarket and factory mags. the After Market mags are 17rd that say PB on the side.
