Yeah, I was kinda shocked that there was zero searches from where I entered. As I said, though, there was a guy at the garage level entrance scanning tix, so I figured we'd be funneled through another area upstairs, but nothing. I didn't actually see any checkpoints down at street level either, but when I go to a Rush show, I'm like a kid on Christmas morning.I have been there many times for concerts, and every time I have been waved down by metal detectors and patted down on the waist. I never tried carrying my gun in simply because I didn't want to be turned around and have to go call the way back to my car.
However I did have a buddy that had a pocket knife with him. It set off the metal detector and he showed it to security and they let him go on in with it.
I went to the Rush concert as well last year and I was checked by security. I entered through the main doors facing the street.
It's also very easy to get out of the garage and jump on the 2nd street bridge, or I64 from the underground garage.I'll just park at the KFC parking garage and if they check me at least I'm not far from my car. If they do oh well if not then great! I believe if a place is owned by the city of louisville then they cannot say anything as long as you are legally carrying, like the zoo. The zoo is very anti-gun, but they are funded by the city so all they can do is give you dirty looks.

They were probably just looking for people wearing INGO hats.Just got back from the show (second time I've seen him & as before it was well done, aside from staring 22 min. late )
I opted not to carry. However, fwiw there were a number of guys w/wands at the entrance, next to the ticket checkers. But they didn't really seem to be wanding any/many people. I walked right in w/o being swept. I'm not sure if they were only checking randomly or perhaps backpacks, etc...
