CCI Blazer .22Lr 40gr ammo???

Anyone have experience with the CCI Blazer .22LR 40gr ammo?? Palmetto has a good deal on a case and I'm thinking about getting it. How does it compare to the Bulk ammo you buy at WalMart?

This is mostly just plinking ammo, maybe small game.

Will be using it in a 10/22, old Stevens rifle, and my Phoenix Arms Hp22a.

Just wondering if anyone had personal experience with it before I buy a 5000+ round case.

I've purchased a few 50rd boxes...

No problems so far out of my 10/22 or 22/45.

I'd suggest you get a hold of a few 50 rd boxes and shoot them first. It may very well be that your particular firearms just don't "like" it for whatever reason.

shoots like a champ from my M&P15-22, probably 200 or so rounds of that through it, zero malfunctions.

thousands of rounds of that have been sent through my Ruger 10/22 and thousands more through my Savage Mark II. thats good cheap ammo. I usually only get one or 2 missfires per box of 500.

Thanks for the replies. I'm heading to MC Sports later today if they have a box I'll pick up one, but I don't really see anything other than CCI's stinger, mini-mags, etc. Haven't seen a bulk pack before.

I think the only place I have seen the Blazer .22 is at either a Dicks sporting goods, or gander mountain

The Phoenix HP22a will love it! Put several hundred rounds through one CSK22 used to have. Should be just fine through any other as well.

I put about 30 rounds through my 10/22 today. No flaws at all. I'll probably go ahead and buy a case of them from Palmetto. Will save me about $20-30 vs buying it at Walmart all the time.
