So Indiana recently passed and (now) enacted a law stating an Indiana resident can carry w/o a "pink card".
Can the piece be concealed? Must it be "open carried" Rifle? Pistol? Shotgun? Thanks in advance.

    Your choice...concealed or open carry.

Long guns were never subject to getting a license/permit, hence "License to Carry Handgun". Nothing changed there.

Legally, no provision for open or concealed carry with or without a LTCH. When you needed a LTCH, you needed one to do either. Now that you don't need one, you don't need one to do either.

    IC 35-47-2-3
Sec. 3. (a) A person who is at least eighteen (18) years of age and is not otherwise prohibited from carrying or possessing a handgun under state or federal law is not required to obtain or possess a license or permit from the state to carry a handgun in Indiana. A resident of this state who wishes to carry a firearm in another state under a reciprocity agreement entered into by this state and another state may obtain a license to carry a handgun in Indiana under this chapter by applying:

    Handgun. Either open or concealed.

Open carrying a rifle was already legal.

Is there a defined list of items that make you prohibited? Or is this up to the whim of somebody?

I definitely agree with the above mentioned answers. Thanks to constitutional carry...so many lives were saved at Greenwood mall this past Sunday
Interesting statement. Has it been confirmed that Dicken did not have a LTCH and was, in fact, taking advantage of the new CC law?

Can definitely be concealed! Indiana has always had a weird open/concealed lack of distinction on the verbiage of the old permits.

There is a "lack of distinction" on the permit, because there is no distinction in THE LAW.
The law that's been that way since Indiana was Indiana.
Yep and that's why our permitting was better than most. We weren't permitted to carry a CONCEALED handgun. We we simply permitted to carry a handgun. Many other states had and have concealed handgun permits with restrictions on open carry. Of course constitutional carry trumps all
