    Nice shooting brother....We have not had many in Bear Holler this year but you are close as the crow flies....

    Don't give them my address...:)

    I think yours have moved down here! Had a big dark one in the yard yesterday evening. I was on the phone for work so all I could do was watch it.

    What load did you shoot that thing with?
    Very nice shootin'. I'm curious what load recipe you're using too.

    :yesway::yesway:

    Federal 64 gr Power Shok soft point. With that load I get .5 MOA groups in the T3, sometimes if I'm having a really good eye day I'll get a group that'll push .3 MOA.

    Great shooting, and congrats on having a Tikka.
    Those Finns make top quality shooting irons.

    Kuten Indiucky todistavat, minulla on asia Suomen kivääriä!:D
    As Indiucky will attest, I do have a thing for Finnish rifles!
    A couple pics of a few of my older Finns.

    Got some of their knives, also! The top one, a J. Marttiini Lumberjack Lynx, is my EDC.

    I think I was Finnish in a past life! (posted while gnawing on a piece of salmiakki!)

    Interesting how this species manages to thrive even when being constantly hunted. Quite resilient pests they are.

    Can you do anything useful with the hides?

    The hides can be sold but unless the fur is really prime (for this area, far southern end of the state) they aren't worth much. If you were "crafty" you could make all sorts of furry clothing out of them.

    Yep, seems like the more that get killed, the more the remaining ones reproduce. IMO they're the cockroaches of the mammal world.
