I already had my lifetime, but applied for duplicate due to wear and tear about a month back and it only took a week.

After years of putting it off here is the rundown. 12/11 state fee paid 12/14 fingerprints. 12/15 local fee paid . Was told who knows how long it's going to take lady at the sheriff office said they have done more ccw permits in the last week than they have all year

I also live in Miami county. If mine comes in the mail tomorrow it will be 29 days from the time I paid the local fee.

I was misinformed about the ltch process, which is why I didn't get my electronic prints run right away.

11/14 - Electronic prints submitted/paid for
12/8 - Approved(Via website)
12/14 - Received license in Mail

I only had to wait 2-3 weeks but I have prior LEO experience so maybe that expedites the process as far as the background checking? Just my two cents! Good luck

no, it's not. When I paid the local fee at the Hendricks Co. Sheriff, the lady told me they were behind on processing the permits and the holiday season just passed, but three weeks is pretty long. I'll call this week and check up on it. I have a clean record and have to pass background checks and even credit checks for my job, so there shouldn't be a problem.

Online application 12/29. Electronic fingerprints and local fee paid today, 1/4. Lady at Beech Grove PD said the state police have been swamped and to expect license in the mail in about 4 weeks...
