There's no such thing as a DA 1911. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'. Know what I'm sayin'?

Are you saying there really isn't a DA 1911, or are you just exclaiming that one should never have the DA moniker?

I'm saying....that from a 1911 purist's point of view,
the "DA" connected to the numbers "1", "9", "1", & "1" are some kind of sacrilegious blasphemy.

Ah, but they DO exist.
I have been thinking that a mini Double action 1911 in .45 would make a nice carry gun. Other than the old conversions I can think of the Para Ordinance LDA, and Colt is supposed to have a DA agent, though I havent seen one outside the Internet.
Any others and what are your experiences?

Where's the ...oh fer gawd's sake, where's the 1911??

Next, you'll be wanting to put one of those derpy "safety" doohickeys on it.
What YOU need, my friend, is a short flat solid trigger built for two-digit wielding.
