Election Reminder "You can keep your plan."

I just want to be absolutely clear, alright. So I don’t want any misunderstanding. When ya’ll go home and you’re talking to your buddies, and they say, “Ah, he wants to take my gun away,” you’ve heard it here — I’m on television so everybody knows it – I believe in the Second Amendment. I believe in people’s lawful right to bear arms. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won’t take your handgun away. … So, there are some common-sense gun safety laws that I believe in. But I am not going to take your guns away. So if you want to find an excuse not to vote for me, don’t use that one. Cause that just ain’t true.

Another 2 years (at least) of relative inactivity? I don't mind if it's a type of damage control, but they certainly don't deserve their pay if they don't pass or repeal anything. If I'm unproductive at work, I don't deserve my pay. It should go that way for them too.

It's the Senate. Blow hot air is what they do; it's what they were intended to do.

But at the very least, they could start with proposing an annual budget - you know, since they're required by law to do so.

Defensive voting may stink...but it stinks less than the alternative.

Good example. 2nd Dist. Jackie Walorski (R) vs Joe Bock (D). Jackie may not be highly rated on conservative score cards (even though she is lampooned at a TEA Party favorite) but Joe Bock is a lifetime globalist who would have the U.N. Rule Us All. He has spent his entire life employed by one world citizen organizations and is currently a professor at ND as Director of Global Health Training.

He has worked for the Work Bank, The Kroc Inst. for International Peace Studies, The Haverford Center for Peace and Global Citizenship, the Secure World Foundation, the Asia Foundation...the list is long and all globalist.

Choose not to vote? As Pericles said: Just because you don't take an interest in politics does not mean politics will not take an interest in you.

Protest vote? I'm sure you'll feel good about that one when the U.N. is at your door...

Wow, what an impressive resume for Bock.

Walorski is toeing the RINO line, pretty close, but what choice does a second district voter have?

Then you have zero standing to complain about the outcome, no matter the result.
Complacency is a major part of the problems this country suffers today.
How does it feel to be a contributing factor in the downfall of your country?

Where the !$#@ is the logic in this?

I am 55 years old and have never voted. I have every right to complain and scream as I am not responsible for the election of the scum that run America. If you vote, you are responsible for the election of the worthless, incompetent, crazy idiots who occupy office and have ruined this once fine nation. Makes no difference what party you vote for. Thank you for exercising your right to vote. You have successfully ruined our country by virtue of your mistaken beliefs.

Please read this carefully: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. 2014, 2016 2020. It will never be different until the common American takes matters into their own hands.

My personal favorite was: "Lobbyists will not work in my Whitehouse."
    I tried to rep you.

    .
This is a gun forum. It's easy to pick who to vote for based on that alone. One issue, everything else is secondary.
Those who vote the other direction are the same as those who don't vote or throw their vote away.
You are either with us or against us. Simple as that.

None really. I know when she was campaigning she got an earful about that move towards RINO...maybe it will have an impact. If not she's still rated an A by the NRA, Joe would move straight to F if he votes anything like his past statements on gun control.

Joe's resume is impressive...but for a politician in a scary, totalitarian, ruler of the universe sort of way.

So, you're 55, never voted, and get your political opinions from comedians. I guess you were ahead of the current wave of the hipsters being led by the nose by the SNL news show ripoffs of today.

Scream all you want, you will never make a difference because you have chosen not to. Since you have shirked your responsibilities as a citizen of the Republic for four decades I'd suggest you go right on waiting for the apocalypse.

I understand your frustration, just not your ambivalence.

Guess I should have used purple.

His resume is impressive in an elitist, one world government, Fabian Socialist, progressive nut case kind of way.

There is one big difference between me and those that vote: I may get my political opinions from comedians, but you elect them to office. Please continue to do your civic duty and vote. And thanks for the continued stellar results.
