    200 hours that could have been used to do the following:
    Rub my feet
    Help with laundry
    Cook a meal
    Picked up dog sh**
    Mowed the lawn
    Done general household repairs

    I don't know about other women but I feel like the above is more than enough to gain my respect as a partner. If my husband spent 200 hours making me a jewelry box I'd probably hit him with a broom.

    Wow! You wouldn't also happen to ride that broom? ... would you? (runs for cover) :D

    OMG, that was totally wicked awesome (as my 6y/o would say).

    What a way to use one's skills. I'm so very, very impressed. That jewelry box will be a family heirloom for generations. And it would occupy a special place of honor in my bedroom if I were its recipient.
