    Don't believe in god, and I'm not sure if I can put the other two in order. The way the country is going right now, Family then Country. If a rev******* started then maybe the other way depending on circumstances. If we change to "God, Family, Freedom" like above then "freedom > family" as long as we're not talking about my personal freedom, but rather freedom in the US.

    Without a country to practice your religion, your religion may not be allowed to exist. In some country's, your family gets only what the government allows. Protect this country by force, or ballot, and the other two will sort themselves out as each individual sees fit.

    How is everyone defining country?

    Do you define it as the government, elected officials, agencies, constitution, the ideal of "land of the free home of the brave", etc etc etc.

    Makes a big difference, IMO.

    i would never lump this govt and my country in the same category. American (my country) is a place where anyone can become anything and have anything if they are willing to work hard for it. It is the most beautiful land on earth in my opinion, and home to the best and most talented people in the history of the world. This is the land of my birth and my ancestors birth, and this is the land they fought to preserve for me and mine. I love my country. It is a place were I am mostly free to live as I wish by natural right thanks to the sacrifices of many. That is why it is so important to be on the watch for anyone who threatens it.

    I voted "Neither". This is the way I want to live my life; to be primarily concerned for the needs/demands of entities in this order:

    Voluntarily: God > Family > Friends > Community > State > Country > Self
    Legally: Self > All others

    Male - 30's - Non-veteran (recruiter told one too many bald-faced lies for my taste after I aced the ASVAB. I broke my knee 2 months later).

    Family, Myself.

    I have no personal attachment to a circumstance of birth.

    Breathes There The Man
    (Excerpt from “The Lay of the Last Minstrel”)

    • by Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832)
    Breathes there the man, with soul so dead,
    Who never to himself hath said,
    This is my own, my native land?
    Whose heart hath ne’er within him burn’d,
    As home his footsteps he hath turn’d,

    From wandering on a foreign strand? If such there breathe, go, mark him well;
    For him no Minstrel raptures swell.
    High though his titles, proud his name,
    Boundless his wealth as wish can claim;

    Despite those titles, power, and pelf,
    The wretch, concentred all in self,
    Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
    And, doubly dying, shall go down
    To the vile dust, from whence he sprung,
    Unwept, unhonor’d, and unsung.

    Just sayin"

    God,
    Family,
    Country.

    18 Y.O. Male, non-veteran (considered it, then realized that with the current political state I might be called to wage a war I could not honorably fight in).

    Defining "Country" as the Constitution first, then any non-contradictory laws, statutes and customs following thereafter. I do not consider any that are contradictory as apart of my nation :xmad:
