I am carrying a Surefire E2E with dealextreme (china direct) CR123 Batteries right now. I have not done a side-by-side with my surefire branded batts. But these seem okay to me.

For the price, and with DE having free shipping (from CHINA!!!), what's so bad about buying some and trying them out and seeing for yourself? That's what I decided to do.
+1 for the "WF" from dealX
never had a problem with em.

Batteriesinaflash.com I have purchased the Evergreen 123s in bulk. They have good run time (close to sure fire), made in the USA, and they give you a discount code to get another 10% off.

Great batteries and service in my opinion.

The tenergies seem to be cheap and work just fine. Though read the expiration, they have a life span of less than 5 years. So don't use if you go through only a couple a year. I just bought a pack of Surefires from their website and I tried the streamlights on Amazon. Can't really tell the difference from regular EDC use.

Im avoiding generic Chinese CR123 batteries. Ive seen to may reports of them failing, ie catching on fire, while in use. Not for me.
