    Making a pastrami is on my list of things to do, just need to get off my butt and try it. How long did you brine?

    If you're starting with corned beef, you don't have to. It's already brined. Pastrami is basically smoked corned beef. A brisket brined and cured becomes corned beef. Corned beef smoked becomes pastrami.

    No pictures but I did my first smoking of the year (I think, I grill year round so I don't remember doing anything else).

    about a 20 lb full shoulder from a pig I got off my BIL last year. turned out EXCELLENT! I started it in my egg knock off around 11PM Friday night. Saturday about mid morning the fan on my pitmaster IQ quit working, probably because it got wet overnight. So I finished it in my pellet smoker. Best crust yet! I can't leave it alone :)

    I watched a few videos on grilling artichokes last night and I'm thinking about trying it this weekend. Has anyone done it? Most of the videos were similar other than the amount of time to steam or boil the artichokes before grilling. Anyone have experience with it and know what works best?
