Help me decide on a 1911

The Rifleman did a feature with Clapp describing how that particular design came about. I think it was 3 or 4 months age. It is appearent that a lot of hard won savy went into the build. He is wiley.

I own the Pro Tactical and love it. I have fondled the Clapp (that sounded really bad), and it is quality. I think you will be happy with either.

Ive had both kimbers and colts, you wont be disappointed with either one.

I have a Kimber Pro TLE II and an older Colt Officers ACP - Would never part with either. As a shooter......Kimber hands down - it is my primary CCW

Dont think you can go wrong with either for sure, but I personaly like the looks of the kimber.

How did I miss this thread? Anyway if you can afford it go with the Colt, a very nice pistol with all the custom features and if you decide to sell it, it says Colt. Kimbers are a dime a dozen now. Just be sure to really shop around, this particular pistol is all over the map as far as what dealers are charging for it.

I have a Kimber Pro Covert II and a Ruger SR1911. Noth are excellent pistols. Have not had any issues with either.

I don't have either. From reading, both sound good. Most important is the fit in your hand. Let the force guide you.

I have @ les Baers 1911 45 Love them # Sig Sauers 1911 45 scorpion, sparten STX carry gun Sig scorpion 1911 45 but as far as well made Les Baers my husband wants a 1911 colt wiley clap and a Springfield 1911 45 commander Ruger 1911 45. Find friends who has what you want shoot it before buying
