We live near there. With the old Shell station putting the building up we've been wondering what they'd put in there. Praying it wasn't another pizza or fast food place. A good breakfast place and "home style" lunch/dinner would be welcomed for sure.
Harrison has both Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans and they're both always full. IHOP, at least the ones we've tried, weren't nearly as good as CB or BE.
Since you know the owners, make sure to let them know that SERVICE needs to be good. We've stopped going to the Steak n Shake in town because of the horrible service. Last time we went we were told, by a "manager", that he was new because all the other managers had recently quit and the servers turn over frequently. We gave them a lot of leeway when it was new, but they just never seemed to get better.
