    OP, cool good for you! I had a mini 14, wouldn't hit the ground if you aimed it at it... But the mini 30's always interested me, I have an SKS, but the mini 30 is what I'd love to have for compactness....

    Smitty, they ain't light in battle dress, but it will draw a smiley face at 100 yards.

    The first ones had a barrel of .308 while the NATO barrels were .311-.312. They finally got wise and made them for the ammo they would be shooting. Now the ammo is drying up...
