I'll venture out for this one. It is vague, intentionally I believe.i think i need someone to define what differentiates a "quality" post from a "non-quality" post. seems like a kinda vague threshold.
There is no set definition. Kinda like the Supreme Court and pornography. "We'll know it when we see it." Be patient. Keep conversing.i think i need someone to define what differentiates a "quality" post from a "non-quality" post. seems like a kinda vague threshold.
Just like the Hotel California;Hello fellow pew enthusiasts,
I just joined
A little background on myself:
Grew up in a very firearm friendly house, learned to shoot from a young age and it’s been a big part of my life for 20+ years.
I recently started expanding my collection a lot, and bought an estate (everything firearm related except the actual firearms) a few weeks back. Took me nearly a month to catalog everything. 30k+ rounds and more reloading equipment than I know what to do with..
Definitely not a bad situation to be in but was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the sheer volume of stuff :scopes, ammo, primers, powder, bullets, casings, presses, and dies.
A close friend that’s a member recommended this forum and here we are.
Now for the problem. In the 8 hours since iv been a member iv already spend close to 2 hours diving through the reloading forums. I foresee a lot of time spent on this forum (maybe too much lol)
Anyways glad to be here, I look forward to tapping into this encyclopedia of information and hopefully can make some contributions myself in due time.
it is encouraged to post at least something that adds value to a discussion. After 50 "quality" you can pretty much post anything (within the rules of decorum) although
Hello klaus my friend. Value is overrated. Nice having this discussion with you that has no value at all.it is encouraged to post at least something that adds value to a discussion.
the fact that I am still here disproves the theory of adding value being a necessity
@PSODIm pleased to say that everyone seems remarkably chill and i havent noticed any trolls or scammers which actually surprising.
Well..... except that Kelly dude. He's a big fat meanie doo doo head that just picks on members for fun and then bans the for no good reasons.@PSOD
ohhhh Kut that out, if you're not careful you'll end up hammering your Jeep! (You'll get the references some day...)
We have our share of trolls, though I think as a forum and as a group we have been pretty tolerant to retain a balance and challenge our own biases.
The Mods (current and Emeritus) are a solid bunch who are tolerant and courteous, until the line is crossed.
Enjoy the time sink which is INGO.
