Well I have to confess I sold the Glock. Liked the pistol but just really couldn't get into it. Wont say that Ill never have another Glock, but not before I get something else that works for me a little better.

Actually I dumped my Sigs and Glocks and jumped to an evil black 1911. I like the new platform. I did keep my old, worn, scratched Glock 23 with dim night sights.

I'm not sure how I would characterize owning your first Glock....

.....waking up and finding that you are adopted?

.....marrying the girl everyone called Coyote Trap?

    Fortunately, you sold the thing.

I am glad you posted this. I visited a LGS and was looking at some Glocks and other striker-fired pistols. I have been reading about them and have heard what others have said about them. I am not sure. I liked the feel the trigger of the Glock better than the M&P and Springfield. Also, I am wanting another 45 ACP, but the Glock 21 felt too big in my hand ("that's what she said"). So, I am not sure the visit put me any closer to buying one.

I rented one years ago. Didn't like it then. About a month and a half or so ago, I bought a G17 gen 4 so the wife could shoot, and I'm digging it. Enjoy it, its a fun gun to shoot.
