Read the entire article. Its more than just about transgenderism. TPM has an obvious agenda here.

    Parents were verbally abusive
Parents withdrew kid from school and said they had no plans to re-enroll (also no mention of homeschooling instead)
Parents had not sought medical treatment for anorexia.
Parents withdrew kid from mental health treatment.

Verbally abusive = didn't comply with a child's delusions and

Withdrew from school = appropriate move to get the child away from groomers

Withdrew from mental health treatment = stopped paying groomers to groom their child

The anorexia is just another angle of the trans delusion.

They're bad parents for ever letting it get to this point, but this is 100% about punishing them for not complying with trans demands made by a child who legally can't consent to a tattoo.

Yes, there are other issues going on here, but the core issue (and the stated reason why the child was taken away from his parents) is the "transgender" issue. At the end of the article is talks about how it was suggested that the son could go back to living with his parents on the condition that the state would see to it that he was given treatment for his anorexia, but the stated reason why the judge did not allow this is because the judge claimed that his mental state would be damaged due to his parents not accepting his new "gender identity."

(Edit: and I'm not saying that they sound like stellar parents, either; there are definitely issues here. But that doesn't make the thought of their son being taken off by state goons, who will almost certainly encourage and further the son's delusions of being the opposite sex, any less horrifying.)

Allowing psychiatric "knowledge-forming" associations to have the undisputed prerogative to set guidelines on what's best for children, when their membership and clientele have a financial interest, is like letting the American Petroleum Institute decide how many places should be open for drilling.

The mom told the kid, “[child’s preferred name] is the bitch that killed my son.”

If true. Do you think that’s what good parents would say to their kid who is having mental issues?

My children's mental issues were corrected with a belt on the behind.
My parents corrected my mental issues the same way.
Guess what my grandparents corrected my parents mental issues the same way as well.
I willing to bet that I come from a long line of mental health experts.
