She might be related to a member of the mod staff. Or she might not. Let's leave it to the person to whom she is related to reveal that, or not. Probably not good practice to ID someone else's kid without permission.

It's amazing sometimes the news events that never get a peep in the papers or anything.

News implies interesting or unusual. NDs are like a tumble off a ladder. It's not very interesting to the majority of folks, unless you happen to use ladders a lot and want to avoid what happened to that guy, and it's pretty common. We had over 80 resulting in injury or death in my county alone last year. I'm not bothering to count this year.
