This is bad (caveat), if true:

Flying home from Germany on July 8 aboard Air Force One, Trump personally dictated a statement in which Trump Jr. said that he and the Russian lawyer had “primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children” when they met in June 2016, according to multiple people with knowledge of the deliberations. The statement, issued to the New York Times as it prepared an article, emphasized that the subject of the meeting was “not a campaign issue at the time.”

Spinning a story to the NYT is now Special Prosecutor fodder? The bar must be really low.

Are you suggesting that Mueller shouldn't look into the allegation? Hmmm, I guess you're right, now if it was running a child sex ring out of a pizza shop, then yeah, lets look into that.

Sure he should... it's the best he's got (that we've heard of)... that a President's administration attempted to spin a news story to a newspaper. OMG!!!

Not much there, there if this is what they're chasing.

Another example of Trump not being able to get out of his own way. His advisers said tell the truth, but he knew better and decided to lie. Because that never comes back to bite a President in the ass.

For some reason, he believes he can "slow-roll" the truth the way the Clintons, and to a lesser extent, Obama did (Obama tended to just stick with the lie, lol). What he forgets is that most of the media acted as a rearguard for them, while being a front-and-center attack investigators for him. In other words, "that dog don't hunt" if there's an R behind your name... which appears to be obvious to everyone except Trump.

Come on, really is everything the medias fault? When exactly does Trump take blame for Trump?

Trump doesn't take credit for anything, unless it's good. I'd challenge anyone to find an instance during his presidency where he has admitted fault, making a mistake, or anything that wasn't glowing endorsement of himself.

Does it count that he said he should've fired Comey earlier?

I think you have to go back to Harry Truman to find a president where the buck really stopped on his desk.;)

    Because he hurt Clinton's feelings?
Because it's the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which does not include prosecution, judge, jury and executioner. He abused his position by all measures and should have been immediately fired by either Lynch or Obama. The fact he wasn't is indicative of him carrying out their wishes.

But the problem is that is not why Trump got rid of him. The problem is Trump got rid of him to relieve the pressure off the Russia investigation.

I can't decide if he thinks he is just smarter than everyone else, or if he just isn't capable of listening to the opinions of people that don't agree with him.

It is really troublesome to me that he is unwilling to listen to those he hired to advise him. They apparently told him to just tell the truth and he overruled them thus creating yet another mess.
