    I'm going with the Gents who beleive the Revolver is the best way to look for a novice shooter with hand srength issues. A good trigger job solves the trigger pull and anyone can load a wheelgun with training. An all steel framed revolver though a little heavier for carry eliminates or absorbs most of the felt recoil making it perfect in this situation over a semi-auto.....:yesway:

    +1 for the Walther PPK and definitely metal frame over polymer blend. My uncle has a similar problem. He's 83, replaced shoulder and elbow on "strong" side, so he can't rack a slide. I suggested a .32-.380 in a wheel gun format. Good luck whatever you choose.
