I picked up the sport model a couple of months ago. Its my first AR. It lacks a few bells and whistles but Im not sure how important forward assist or a dust cover really are for plinking and occasional varmint hunting. That being said I love this gun. I added a red dot for now and I plan to dump the red dot and add a scope in the fall. Good Price good gun.

Well, here she is. I just took a quick cell phone pic, so I had something to show friends, and post on here. As soon as I get done dressing her up, and getting the way I want, ill do a quick photo shoot with it. Thank you to all who answered my questions, it was greatly appreciated...

It's not very hard. You just have to remove the hand guard each time you want to add or subtract a rail. Not a huge issue.

Each rail comes with a couple/few screws & nuts that you have to position and screw in.

The hardest part of the whole thing is getting the hand guard off if you don't have a hand guard removal tool (which I do not).

Wow, I didn't realize you have to remove the MOE handguard every time you want/need to add a piece of rail. I'm wanting an MOE, but thought I the rail pieces could be added while the handguard was one.

Edit: Just watched a video on this, doesn't look too bad. Guess I thought there was a way to tighten down rail sections without needing to remove the handguard, but it probably would not be attached firmly enough.

I Bought an M&P 15T shortly after they first came out and it’s a great weapon. I had no issues with it what so ever, it functions great with all types of ammo. I know S&W service is top notch because I did need to send an M&P 15A back, due to a loose fit of the upper and lower. S&W paid for the shipping both ways and when I got my M&P 15A back it was rock solid and still is after more than 1400 rounds. Most of those 1400 rounds were fired through it using the Slide Fire Stock. This stock works great and is about 97% as good as a real class 3 M16. The only Issues I had with the Slide Fire Stock were light primer strikes (did not fire the round) once I changed to the H2 buffer problem solved. The other issue is the ammo usage went through the roof, but so did the fun!!!
    Hope this helps.
