Soooo, where are all these ranges that allow you to draw from your holster, present and fire? I haven't found any here in Central Indiana that will let you do that? Where should I be looking?

https://indyrange.net/ on the near westside. Out northeast is https://fcvcc.org/. Both are outdoor ranges with pistol bays where you can draw from the holster. Here's another in Avon that's indoors. Will let you shoot from the holster after you've taken a pistol course with them so they know you use proper technique: https://parabellumrange.com/. There are others. I think we have a thread about Indy ranges, but those are off the top of my head. The two outdoor ranges I linked you need a member to take you, or you need a membership.

    Definitely MCF&G (Indyrange.net) as @wtburnette mentions.

A little further to the west, Proteq:

Another outdoor range, also has a nice competition schedule. Need a member to take you there but anyone can compete (and you can then meet members if you want to join).

Sounds like this is your sign from the universe to get into shooting sports! They're MUCH more fun then standing still shooting paper in a loud smelly indoor range with a bunch of potentially dangerous strangers, and you probably live within an hour of a regular event.
Unfortunately, with my current job, the stars have to align perfectly so that I can attend shooting sports during the day.

Tell me you have no understanding about shooting with a dot without telling me you don't understand anything about shooting with a dot.
