I don't think just stopping buying new knives is enough.
Maybe Rhino should just be allowed to keep ONE knife if he has addiction problems.
The rest of his collection should be redistributed among us.
Of course we get to pick wich one he can keep.

All in favor say yes (and get your free knife from Rhino!)

That's just what he would say!

D'OH! You got me on that.

However, I would think the short term benefits of the position would have led me to a more lavish lifestyle at this point.

I'm here to help him get better.

    You are a true friend!

IN! Rhino is such a generous rhino. Thinking of others before himself. If we all could be just a little like Rhino...

    It takes true strength.

    :ingo:

Well... if it will help him in the long run...

He has already gifted me one
    But what the hell

    IM IN !!!!!

Ah! I am overwhelmed by the supportive friendship on display!

    I suspected it!!!

I cut myself with pretty much every new knife I get.
It's not truelly yours until it tasted your blood.

It's been a couple of years since I inflicted my last serious cut. Maybe I have learned?!!

    Define "serious"! :):
For you it could be cutting your arm off, something not serious could be just losing a finger.

You will be safer without your knives!
I will PM you my address for shipping.

    J'espère qu'ils apparaîtront bientôt.

That's odd that the vendor would not send a Gerber to you!

Yeah, I added it to my cart and placed the order.
The next day I get an email saying it has been removed because Gerber won't allow their products to ship overseas.
There was no warning about that before I placed my order.
Other brands are cool with that.

A few months ago I was shopping for a flashlight and the website clearly stated that they couldn't send Surefire products in international orders.

It has to do with dealer agreements. The same products are sold over here for often twice the price (or at least 30% more), so european dealers won't allow US dealers to send those at the US price.

    Dear Valued Customer,

We're sorry to inform you that the Gerber item on your order has been canceled, as they do not allow their US dealers to export their products.

Ah! So it's more about protecting dealer territories than it is about not being able to get those products at all?

Yes they are sold in France but at a much higher price.

It's not a legal thing, I guess some knives they can't send them like to the UK where some types are illegal.
But it was not even a Gerber knife.

I found a French website with the same products, it's still more expensive to order from them than it is to order from the US with expensive shipping costs.
Shipping cost is much less if you order from France but each product is more expensive.

Maybe you should become a dealer!
