I had one, back when I was in 4th grade. Grandpa had an old worn out bolt action 20ga. Gave it to me, but told me never to try an fire it as it was worn out. He even took out the mag spring and follower. But, my friend gave me a shell, and of coarse I just had to try shooting it. Slid the round into the chamber, as soon as the bolt was driven forward by me, boom goes the round! Lucky I had it pointed up, no one hurt.....yet. My mom and dad heard the shot go off, I lost my gun and got a good butt whoopin'. And a very stern talking to by grandpa. Grandpa and dad burned firearms safety in to my brain after that, and always remember them.

Never had one in the almost 20 years I've been around guns. Just hoping that if I ever do it will only result in a little startle and a new hole in the ground, tree, or something like that. Seen other people have them and luckily no one ever got hurt because of it.
