What a moron. Blame video games and movies? Pretty hypocritical.

A police officer in every school? Who is going to pay for it?

What a way to continue to create a police state.

Wait, what if instead of police we use the TSA?
Hey obama! Think of all the .gov jobs you could create..... that would be a win win for you!!!

So far it, s : video games = worst kind of pornography and turn our schools into police states.... I'm curious how this will wrap up.

Nada about letting teachers defend themselves and more federal laws and mandates.

Putting an armed police officer in every school would cost like $10 billion a year (assuming you hired a cop for each one).

Yeah, but think of the children!

Take half of the TSA away from airports and make them do something useful. Wait, strike that - I don't want them anywhere near our kids.

The NRA can't go defensive and deploy common sense about mass killings so their own option is to go on the attack and propose a POSITIVE solution.

The media will cut it up and piece it back together and then pick at it out of context on their regular propaganda programs the rest of the day.

True, and many schools already have armed security (usually more urban and Jr. high and above, now), so we are not starting from scratch.
Exactly! Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of a, "Police State", but I have 4 children, and if I'm not convinced that they are safe, I'd take that risk, of having govt. security, looking out for my kids!

We've got a lot of well trained veterans returning from the Gulf that can't find jobs. Why not give them some jobs? I'd much rather have a veteran guarding schools than the TSA, IMHO.

I know I could get at least a dozen guys in the area to volunteer their time to train schools, let alone actually provide security.
