Been in St Anthony ER with Mom for 12 hours with shortness of breath and poss pneumonia. They're admitting her, but there are no beds available.

I think they better have a bed if they are admitting her.

Thanks, guys. I've been sitting in that hard chair for 12 hours. Finally took a break and came home for a couple of hours. Got no sleep last night.

We had little Kobe in the doctors office this morning. He has respiratory issues so we try to act quickly. Doctor said there is a lot of misc stuff going around. He was treated and discharged.

Hopefully your mom will get the treatment she needs and a space will open up so she can get a little more rest and privacy. Being stuck in an emergency room is never restful.

3 years ago, one could go from Hammond, IN to downtown Chicago in 15 minutes time with zero traffic. Even the state trooper would not stop you as one zzzoooommmeed on by.
