Agree. Also get the persons name and contact information you talk to. See if they can give you the actual code that says one way or the other. If possible see if they will email it to you.

How long do you think it will take them to figure out that their own laws never prohibited 18-20 year-olds from carrying?

All I've found is that their laws effectively made it impossible for their own resident 18-20 year-olds to legally acquire handguns.
