Someone posted a link to some 5.11 tacticals on sale months ago. I bought five or six pairs and have worn them since. They have held up really well to clearing brush, mending fence, digging ditches, tromping around in the woods and all types of manly activities.

I also got a pair of their covert pants and while I really like their mag pockets, they ripped the first week.

If i find another deal like that on 5.11 tactical pants, I am loading up (I think they were $20 or something like that).

TAD Gear DC (Doomsday Canvas) Pants. DC is really Carhartt material, but these have reinforced knees, gusset crotch, and good pockets. They are extremely durable, but expensive and hard to get! They also have front d-rings to attach equipment lanyards to.
