Point Blank range coming to Merrillville

From information on their website, it looks like both rifle and handgun range. I have applied for a job there and I know they are interviewing the first part of June. I would be suspecting that they will be opening up within a month or two.

I am curious of the progress as well. I had applied for a job with them, got a call for an interview, but timing was off. Considering some of the comments in regards to bad press. I am wondering if that was a good thing.

Im doing the electric there. Not too sure how much info i can give away. However, the range will be awesome, along with the retail space. It should be open to the public by at least August.

Some features i dont think are an issue if i disclose:
20 lanes with plates rated to .308 so you can shoot your rifles inside. (NWI needed this)
Classrooms for training.
State of the art ventilation.
Great lighting :-)

I received an email from Point Blank with tis offer. I did notice there was fine print at the bottom, but didn't read it because I knew I wasn't available to go.

I know a guy who just started work, most introductions, and he couldn't tell me the state of the construction but "soon" was when he said it will open.

Don't forget we'll also be able to shoot rifle calibers.

Well, at least it's place that I can zero in a rifle at 25 before I take it out to Willow Slough and try the 50 and 100. It feels really dicey when zeroing a new gun at 50 yards whether it's irons or a scope.
