    That's awesome! What is the significance of the "circle 11"? Mine has it, and it was made in 1952. If the box is correct it was made by Radom.

    The first year or 2 of production had the "FB" logo stamp. After that they fell in line with the other combloc countries by having their country code in a circle as their arsenal stamp. Hungary was a circle 02, Bulgaria was a circle 10, etc. It was a standard used.

    You'll often hear the Polish Vis 35 (HiPower knock off) called a "Radom" after the town/factory it was manufactured in.

    Up until I got this gun, I'd only heard of the P64 (?) Radom pistol... I love learning all this stuff!

    I will never get rid of my VIS35's...almost as addicting as my Mosins.

    I will never get rid of my VIS35's...almost as addicting as my Mosins.
    Very nice! I've never even seen one of those... very 1911-ish! A quick google search revealed that there aren't many of these out there for sale... :( The one ad I did find (sold) had a $950 price tag! :eek:
