Interesting take from Powder Valley on the “The Great Primer Shortage of 2020"

Pretty good read. Makes sense to me. I would be interested in seeing how many they have in stock when the sell out so quickly.

Looking at my state's G O site primers are selling for $15 per 100. A reloading dealer on the coast offered 1,000 sp or sr for $75, limit 2. 355 miles is a bit far to drive for me. Said the sell started at 8 am. Had to park on the street, not his driveway. One person in the shop at a time. Sold out at 11:20.

And yet a friend in Maine told me the other day he walked into a Cabelas and bought a brick of primers for $38 last week. He said he almost fell off the floor! Can’t make this stuff up.

Heard quite a few stories like this not just on primers but ammo too. Right place, right time

Picked up 1000 LP CCI primers at Sportsman’s Warehouse yesterday for $2.39 per 100 limit 1000
I'm not much for math, but is that $23.90 per 1000?

That seems low, low for two years ago? :dunno:

Hmmm, I went and looked. That's what they are advertising, all out of stock of course. They are also saying in store only?
