Tell me what shows you think are communist or socialist propaganda. I've heard speculations that the Smurfs tv show and the Andy Griffith show were both promoting communism. I'm not saying I buy this, I just love conspiracy theories, and would like to see what people have to say.

Im sorry but I can see anything how Andy Griffith was promoting communism, I mean I grew up watching that show and am not thinking of anything. It was a show about small town values, and small town values are most definitely not Communism. I just cant see that one.

Social pogramming thru the media has been around since the radio, everyone that watches tv goes to their "respected" shows because it confirms what they think they know. People dont seek out news from cnn/fox, they seek out confirmation of their already idiotic views of the world.

I mean it is called PROGRAMMING for a reason.

This guy takes a stab at it...interesting

While I like Star Trek (Next Generation...Shatner's overacting and the intergalactiskank of the week drove me batty), I have always preferred Star Wars...I'll leave y'all to guess why :D

    Star Trek > Star Wars

Between the rock and that hardplace
    Please explain..

The whole premise of Star Trek is/was everyone is motivated at the same level. Everyone works and is happy and there is no "class" in society. As history/experience has shown since the beginning of time, no two people are motivated by the same thing, or at the same level. There have always been leeches in any society willing to take, but not contribute.

One episode of The New Generation, Picard stated that "we did away with money years ago". No one was "paid" for their work and apparently everyone equally shared the results of everyone's work. Kinda sounds like a communistic/socialistic utopia to me.:twocents:
