This is another example of political correctness and over reacting to a freedom of expression action! In the big picture, as a nation, if we don't stop with the p.c. thinking in this country it will lbe the down fall of a great nation!

We have civil rights laws that prevent discrimination in practically every sphere of public and economic life. The NAACP used to have a purpose, and it was achieved. They have their president.

Now they have nothing else to do except create problems like this one. These people need to get real jobs, rather than rake in the cash on fake race issues.

They want to criminalize free speech, criminalize criticism of the President (their president, at least).

Now they want all rodeo clowns to show proof of having taken "sensitivity training" http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/aug/13/rodeo-clowns-asked-take-sensitivity-training/

This country is becoming a joke, more and more every day. Being a pansy is now the preferred thing.

When I'm President, anything to do with "sensitivity" is getting abolished.

    Excellent quote from Charles Cooke...

In an odd way, I'm quite looking forward to Hillary's era changing the default insult from "racist" to "sexist."

I really don't see what the big deal is. People lose their jobs over far less. Employment is always at the pleasure of the employer. The clown's constitutional rights weren't violated. He still could continue to do his Obama act. Employers are at liberty to choose whether they want to pay him for it. They decided his act is not worth the hassle. By comparison, the dissidents in these other countries actually lost their freedom and some of their basic human rights. That's some serious stuff, and we shouldn't trivialize it by comparing it with some clown. That's the point I wanted to make.

If you want to get outraged about problems with the government, there are far bigger things. This sort of stuff is the kind of distraction popular with the news media today. They take your eyes off the really important stuff, and make you focus on some small, insignificant thing. They get you all worked up over a partisan matter. In the meanwhile, you're still getting groped at the airports, your tax dollars are being used to rescue big corporations, and your sons and daughters are losing their life and limb in conflicts around the world that most Americans no longer support. Bread and circus, folks, bread and circus.

Someone give bingley a cookie for seeing through this distraction.

With all due respect Rambone and Bingley; Bull****.

He was fired for his political views in a direct continuing effort of the left to silence dissenting voices. This is a small thing but representative of much larger infringement of 1A that the Left is forcing down our throats with all their PC, racist, extremist name calling and so called activism. Anytime someone does something that threatens their point of view they get the person fired, boycott their business, slander them, arrest them, send the IRS after them etc.

The whip cream is that these same people were laughing a few years ago at the Bush clown mask. They are effectively censoring the national conversation through fear of retaliation in the media or the workplace.

Agreed. This incident is not a problem in and of itself. It is another example of the widespread rot that pulling us apart. This political correctness crap is slowly eroding our 1st amendment rights...and in many cases, we all sit around and by our implied consent, are allowing this to permeate. More speech is better. We don't have to like the guy making fun of a person we like/support but we should stand up for his/her right to say it. This "gotcha" game we're playing with folks whether it's getting them kicked off ESPN, or ruining their careers, or even getting them kicked off of INGO is quite tiresome.

Its no different from somebody getting banned from INGO. The property owner makes the rules and removes people he doesn't want.It has absolutely nothing to do with the 1st Amendment. We are not entitled to post anything we please on somebody else's website. That clown is not entitled to do anything he wants in somebody else's rodeo.Property owners are not governed by the constitution - the government is.The fact that all the talking heads promote these kind of issues (while remaining silent on real infringements) screams distraction!

    Who cares?

He should have gotten his costume approved by management before he stepped on stage. Rodeos are dumb anyway

Technically correct, but still missing the bigger picture. I doubt the Rodeo owners would have ditched the guy if it weren't for the threats (veiled or otherwise) from the Obamanation. Some people would call that extortion.
