I saw the Paul speech but didn't see the clip of the 2 justifying NDAA. Got to love those trying to strip freedoms from the subjects.

WHY then, did Ron Paul NOT Vote against this Treacherous Act ? :noway:

He was not there when they brought it to the floor, something about a presidential campaign and a date change on the vote.
He has however put a measure on the floor to repeal it his first day back.So when the actual bill passed he was not there.However...
he did vote against HB 5014 which became NDAA when it was first brought to the floor.

WHY then, did Ron Paul NOT Vote against this Treacherous Act ? :noway:
    give me a ****ing break.

One. he voted against the amendment to the bill that included the detention and detainment without due process, just not against the entire bill, because this authorization bill provides the funding for our troops in theater. Also he was likely in Iowa campaigning at the time the Bill went to vote.

Two. Interesting how you fail to mention Indiana Reps Stutzman and Pence vote FOR the NDAA. In fact EVERY Indiana Rep voted AYE on the NDAA. Are you ready to criticize Stutzman, Burton or Pence?

GovTrack: House Vote On Passage: H.R. 1540: National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012

Three. Are you ready to criticize Stutzman, Burton or Pence? Or are you just an enemy of the ONE candidate that consistently defends Liberty. Romney and Newt have said as president they would sign the NDAA 2012 with the detainment provisions, as they say they are an additional tool on the war on terror.

I am weary of people tripping over themselves to find fault with the ONE candidate in the field that stands for LIBERTY. I guess the threat to the entitled classes is growing real. It is apparent the threat of reductions in handouts worries people.

Lets END SOCIALISM NOW. Vote for RON PAUL 2012.

I criticize everyone who Voted for it and those who failed to Vote against it, including walk on water Ron Paul. It was a traitorous Act to Vote for it and Just as Traitorous NOT to cast a No Vote at the appropriate time

I don't think the adage, To Take No Action Is An Action applies here. Ron Paul cant be in two places at once. And he has shown that he is against it.

RON PAUL did Not Vote when it Counted, he was too busy Campaigning. This Traitorous Bill has severe repercussions for law abiding Americans. Every rep who Voted for it should be removed from office.

Which vote are you referring to? He voted "NO" on the passage of the bill.

Only 7 Senators voted against the actual NDAA bill. The following seven Senators voted against it:

    Coburn
    Harkin
    Lee
    Merkley
    Paul
    Sanders
    Wyden

Incidentally, six of these senators also voted against The Patriot Act Extension earlier this year:

    Harkin
    Lee
    Merkley
    Paul
    Sanders
    Wyden

These, my dear Americans, are the only Senators who work for us... all six of them !

    On the House Side

    See who voted for the bill, who voted against it, and who else didn’t vote on it at all;
