    Having been a USAF crew chief and having talked to a lot of USAF pilots....you are going to LOVE being a military pilot. I know you already knew that but every officer/pilot I ever met always told me how much they loved burning jet fuel. Good luck.

    Congrats on making it through. Just found the thread. The military is a great lifestyle and the Marines are a lifestyle onto themselves. That is not a bad thing though. Good luck with the rest of your training. I am enlisted now, but promotions for the Army in my MOS are about frozen, so looking at becoming an Officer so I can stay in until retirement.

    Congratulations and the Best of Luck to you. I was selected for Army OCS in '53, Didn't go. Wish I had. I mighta/coulda been an Army pilot during the infancy of Army Aviation. Instead, I went to aircraft mechanic school.
