Turns out there's some public-source research indicating the FLL shooter had converted to Islam and may have been motivated by jihadist propaganda. There've been allusions to this in the press, saying that he thought the US gov't was forcing him to watch the jihadist videos (looking at you ATM for confirmation of this conspiracy theory).

If credible, this should be published more widely. It shows that home-grown extremists (of any denomination) are part of the problem. Depending on the statistics, perhaps most of the problem.

Naaah...stopping homegrowns is hard. Stopping imports is easier. Unless you're a Catholic charity and want more imports (or are prepared to censor the internet).

Wrong wrong wrong. He was a veteran so blame it on PTSD. Who cares that Ihole has been encouraging lone wolf attacks....
