    I guess it doen't matter where it happens in Florida.Both areas of the airport are off limit to law abiding citizens carryings guns, so the government (state or federal) is responsible for their safety.

    Although I have to give credit to the airline workers in Lauderdale, Ft Meyers and Tampa. They get so many passengers checking guns in checked baggage that it's no big deal. It's been a piece of cake every time.

    Showing more activity now on NBC. Evacuating the parking garage. Shooter's car may have been found and they're trying to determine if there's a secondary threat.

    Police look pretty relaxed now at the garage, so maybe there was no threat there, or there is no longer a threat. Sheriff's chopper landed on the garage roof.

    TSA reporting more shots fired

    Ft Lauderdale mayor telling CNN that the current activity is a new security sweep after unconfirmed reports of shots fired in the garage.

    24 hour rule now in effect.
