Not like he's pushing AXG modules for 320's or Staccato 2011's in here...

It would be this thread where I push 2011's :abused:

This thread is for acknowledging how epic Wilson Combat grip modules are , at least they are not crazy expensive.

Well aware. Been checking that thread out. Those are well above my weight class on what I'm willing to drop on a single gun.

The WCs are more in my neighborhood... on the nicer side of the trailer park.

    I own several.

I keep looking on gun forums buy/trade/sell sections for someone wanting to sell their WC XL module but haven't come across a single one yet.

Why not just buy one from Wilson Combat? They are even in stock on their website right now. Also people not selling theirs is probably a pretty good indicator they are as good as advertised and reviewed.

I will not own a handgun I cannot fit my hand on. The smallest I have is the Shield 45, and my pinkie with the 7rd magazine gets just enough to get a secure hold. I bought the Ruger LCRx and put a larger grip on it also. (Gave it to dad to carry)
I'd like to find a pistol with a 3" barrel that has a full size grip and capacity for my edc. The problem is I've not seen one available. The closest I've seen is the Taurus G3x with the 17rd magazine which is a +2 extension IIRC.
Something like that would be perfect IMO without the extension of course.
The next closest I've seen is the Glock 45, and I think the Glock 19x. I believe the barrel on them is 4" though, and possibly the new 17rd P365.

Without proper grip i cannot shoot a handgun properly.

I modified mine to fit the thumb safety. I went with tan and it was not available with a safety cutout. I also got new bases for my magazines that flare out and make grip even better. I was able to go to an XL frame, but still use my 10 round mags. Most worthwhile accessory purchase I think I have ever made for a firearm. I was about to sell the weapon and now for about $100 I love it. Sig should sell them with this module. I will try to post a pic soon.

Curious, did you modify the module or did you put an extension on the 10 round mags? 12 rounds mags work natively of course with an XL module if you use the XL floor plates that come with 12 round mags these days when purchased (I still have some that didn't come with them as they were pre-XL, but some great INGO'ers provided me some that they wouldn't be using to cover some of my pre XL 12 rounders).

I may look at selling off my 10 round mags once I have all my 365's running the WC XL modules.

I've got a couple of them running WC XL modules now and I love them.

    I seriously doubt you will.
That said, WC does run some coupon codes occasionally (10% for example), and MidwayUSA carries these as well and they occasionally have free shipping. So there are opportunities to save a buck or 2 on these occasionally.

Anybody have opinions on the titanium weight kits? My biggest gripe is the fact that they rattle around. I put some painter's tape on them to make them fit tighter.

A few pics of the base plate on a 10 and 12 round mag. They were from Armory Craft.

Because I shoot my 365X very well as it is now. Maybe it would be an improvement, maybe not. And I'd rather pay $40-45 shipped from an individual than $65 plus shipping plus sales tax. If it doesn't wow me then I could resell it for the same amount I paid and not lose almost 50%

I think you mean tungsten? My opinion, FWIW, after having tried them on the X Compact and the 365 is that they are worthless. And yes, they rattle in the X but not the 365

Better half couldn’t put it on the target. I got one of those bullet lasers so she could aim, then I turned the laser on to show her where she was actually aiming. She puts it on target regularly now.
