[/IMG]Traded for a Glock 19 gen 4 and this my first glock. But it has a tan cerakote on it anyone out there have any thoughts on best way to remove it? It’s already started to peel in places so I’m thinking it was not done properly. Thanks INGO

Are you sure its Cerakote? try soaking it in Acetone, it won't hurt the grip and if it is peeling, it is like you say very poorly done cerakote, but if it is something else the acetone may remove it.

In the trade I got it cheap. It’s going to be an edc and I have less money in it than I would’ve spent on a less quality of a gun

Well I sprayed it down with stripper and it’s melting off. I don’t know what she had but it was strong
so far slide is about free off it and it’s softening it up all pretty good. Pictures to follow.

Waiting on pics!

I'll second the leaving some parts covered. The cool kids pay big money for "battle worn" style finishes.
