Well I can't help it....my buddy says a lot of things to me...and sometimes I feel it's completely bull****.

It may be.
People in (or were in) the military are not exempt from spewing garbage.

Do you have any?

No I don't have any combat experience. I'm just an average joe blow citizen with lots of guns who took a bunch of classes like everyone else, done practices and training where I fall, roll around and get dirty. It isn't anywhere near the experience of my friend but I'd like to think for a civilian, I am at least getting myself in the mindset for SHTF...while I tend to my garden. I don't wave my training in people's faces and I am always looking for more training and life lessons to get me through things.
