I'm very early into getting back to making bread, and grinding the wheat to do so. I've searched online and tried to find someplace that sells Non-GMO whole wheat and haven't found anything other than online sources. The shipping cost for a Superpail is high enough that I'm tempted to drive to Oklahoma and pick it up myself. Is there anyplace I can purchase wheat within a few hours radius of Indianapolis? I'm looking for White and/or Red Hard Berries and bonus points if the farm/store/shop sells oats, beans, etc...

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I think we had actually shopped it maybe ten years ago but hadn't been back. I couldn't remember what it was called or where it was located and had searched but couldn't find it where I thought it was. If it's what I remember, they had EVERYTHING and they are serious about food storage and preserving things safely. I learned a lot that day and they were patient with my questions.

It might be a haul for you but Bonneyville Mill in Elkhart County used to sell hard and soft wheat, rye, buckwheat, etc. They usually sell it ground, but they will sell it as grain as I used to buy my rye there for winter cover on the garden.
