Fenix lights are nice, but they are no where near as durable as a Surefire. I've been a 3rd shift watchman for quite a while now, and have bought tons of lights. Surefire is the only ones that have not failed me. The only Surefire product I've been able to break was their holsters, and they replaced them free of charge within days of my call.

Outta curiousity, how has the Fenix lights failed you in the past?

Well I don't use and abuse my lights daily. My Fenix's all seem tough as nails. But I'd concede that moving up to the world leader, Surefire, might be worth the money if it's a daily tool for your job.

I stand by my original statement, but add "for the average user". :D
