1st, I disagree with the death threats.

That being said...... What the heck was this guy thinking?
    Banning signs for safety???? What?
    Then identity theft?
Great behavior for a public official.

    To All,

There is enough stupid to always go around all sides.

That said, this is a good story. Chief LE does bad, system works. He is currently on paid leave and possibly facing criminal charges. If those charges are filed he will have his day in court.

This is a story everyone should be pleased with. The alleged JBT is having his leash yanked and may face punishment.

Pressure is being placed to repeal free speech limitations.

    So far, so good.

    Regards,

    Doug

Sorry but I'm not buying the claim of death threats by the alledged criminal. And I'm not buying the insinuation that the Tea party tried to hack his bank accounts with no proof.

    The LEO is a LIAR.

I think the threats were from someone else. I don't think they claimed it came from him.

Tea party supporters flooded the five-officer department with complaints; some threatened the officers with death, according to Kelemen’s records.

    And they said...
The tea party invited the wolves out of the forest.

So he (Kelemen) didn't accuse Luce. He just holds him responsible.

And sadly, someone may have made threats.
Any group will have people like that. Pro-gun, Anti-gun, Liberal, Conservative, etc.

I'm betting there's some more to this story--some personal history or local politics or partisan one-upmanship that preceded this. I don't support defacing or vandalizing public property or causing a nuisance but I bet those are just convenient excuses.
