What if we adapt "Constitutional Carry" and the Constitution gets changed?

Meh...they haven't done that since what---since the lowered the voting age to 18? They've found that they don't need to do that any longer. All they have to do is get enough judges to find penumbras or defer to public opinion to effect the changes desired.

Any amendment of the second amendment will lead to a second revolution. It's the same thing that sparked the first revolution.

Understood, but that still doesn't answer the question of changing who creates and polices our firearms laws. Moving from State control to Federal control doesn't open us up to a massive political wave that could massively change, if not repeal the 2nd A?

Of course we would would fight such a thing, but there is a massive difference between the state of Indiana fighting overbearing Federal control vs individuals defying Federal laws.

The same could apply to actually making our State laws more friendly to the Hoosier carrier. For example, Indiana not recognizing Federal no gun zones, Indiana not recognizing some or all of the NFA, etc.

I'd personally start with Indiana not criminalizing the carry of a handgun, for which the LTCH is but an "affirmative defense".

When Colorado legalized marijuana despite federal law, I asked this same thing. What's the difference? As long as your machine gun is manufactured in Indiana, etc. why would this not be equivalent to mj in CO? But apparently even our A and A+ NRA rated legislators don't want to use political capitol on such a feat.

But to the rest of your question, if there's no law saying you have to jump through state mandated hoops to carry a gun legally, we're not deferring to Feds. Even if the 2A did change, our law would be silent on lisencing and the Feds would have to come in and enforce their changes.

I'm moving this to General Firearms (as much as I'd like to see it stay) since no legislation is involved.
I hope Lucas brings it up in the next session where we can discuss it further in 2A

I realize your title states constitutional carry, but I feel the article deals with firearms ownership as a whole (as opposed to carry issues and self defense)

    Where's the bacon?
I have it on good authority that he will do so. Rep. Lucas is certainly the best friend the Indiana gun owner has in the State House of Representatives, and I don't want to debate who is better for our side between him and Sen. Tomes. Together, I think we have a hell of a team in Indianapolis.

Just the same.... Everyone IS writing their legislators to support any as-yet-unwritten bill in favor of the repeal of the necessity for a LTCH and any other pro-gun legislation, right? Right?!

    Blessings,
    Bill

Lonnie Randolph. I write, he sends me email of all the socialist programs he supports. Nough said.

No better at Federal level Pete Visclosky. I really need to move!
