I ran out of the stuff from our hog this year. It was delicious. Now I am sad too. Why don't you pick up a couple of pounds and come over. We can fry it up and talk guns.

Guns don't interest me much, but we could talk about bacon. :yesway:

A couple pounds sounds good, should I pick up any for you?

I'm all for it as long as they pay for their own insurance.

If they want to end up in the hospital for drug use, they can pay for their own bill, their medicare should be rejected immediately for an admission based on drug abuse.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. If you screwed up bad enough to end up on medicare, and you're expecting the tax payers to support you, you better be striving for self improvement, or you can find a way to pay for your own addictions.

That's a good reason for you to try to get the law changed. People who have strong feelings one way or the other should be making their voices heard.

I have no argument with this. I'm certainly not suggesting that anybody break the law. The Bible says I should obey laws unless they violate its principles, and I try to do so.

Apart from the legal issues, I'm not sure that I can make a moral or biblical case against some drug use. Opiates and marijuana have their uses, just as alcohol does. I think they can be used in accordance with the Biblical principles of moderation and restraint.

I don't disagree with that in principle and am fully willing to let others make decisions for themselves.
