Hey-O gangsters ! Top of the morning.
I'm back from the cabin. I thought about staying down there for this entire week, as it's another hard-to-get-old scenario (TJ will like this !). Yeah, it's Doctor, and Dentist week ... again. :abused:

Today, I'll try to clear my mind of the unpleasantness, and go through my Autumn photos.

I've recently become a CZ fan. I currently have a P-10c with a Holosun EPS Carry 6 MOA green dot and most recently a P-01. Both are superb!

Have any of you had your slides milled for an optic, and if so any recommendations? I can shoot my stock P-01 pretty well at the moment but I'm getting old enough that the front sights on all my pistols are becoming increasing difficult to see clearly. Thus, my move to red dots. Honestly, I hate the idea of milling the slide of the P-01. It's such an aesthetically nice pistol stock but I'm considering adding a red dot to it as well.
Welcome to our little haven, bogus. I'm not technical enough to answer your question, but I'm sure that others who are, will be along soon.

Morning. You're gonna fit right in here. Red dots are very prevalent in this group.

Welcome to the CZickness! If you are asking where to get your P-01 milled @AllenM in Avon does nice work. He milled my Rami for direct mount Holosun 507k. I am considering getting my PCR milled as well and the EPS carry circle dot is on my short list.

I have a plate that replaces rear sight thst is rmr pattern. Had Holosun on one of my p01s. Easy way to see if you like optic on it without milling or confirming you do like it and then send it off to get milled. If you want it milled locally I would recommend Allen. I see you’re in Columbus. I’d also recommend checking out USDS Bloomington. Owner is only person I would ever let work on any of my CZs also does best cerakote I’ve seen in person.

That's an excellent idea! Thank you for noting the plate. I was recently in USDS in Columbus, they mentioned that their Bloomington location is a big fan of CZ.

Welcome from Columbus, and to the CZ fold.

AllenM does a lot of work for INGO such as optic cuts, etc.

I'll add another recommendation for AllenM. He's milled a couple of my slides and the results have been perfect. The work done on my G23 is so good, I think that I could shoot the gun without screws holding the RMR down. Yet, when lined up just right, the sight drops into the perfectly milled pocket with little resistance.
