I have never seen Democrats so far out there as they are today.

So true. They truly have lost their collective mind. They’ve made hate speech an accepted thing if it’s directed in a way that benefits their agenda. The openly practice sexism, racism and are tolerant of violent rhetoric against anything Republican.

And the media's darling socialist AOC proposing the idiotic Green New Deal? All of the Democrat Senator presidential candidates endorse it? Wow, lunacy and fantasy land all rolled up into one!

They are definitely full of beans and feeling frisky. They pushed 2 "common sense" gun control bills back to back. I also don't trust the Republicans as far as I can throw them in the Senate and I certainly don't trust Trump not to sign something if he feels it has popular support.

So, to that end, I'm still stocking up when I can. I certainly won't get caught flat footed on the .22 front. Heck, Walmart has been selling the Winchester M-22 1000 rd packs for $42 and I've had really good luck with it in all the guns I've shot it in (even the really ammo sensitive ones, like my Beretta 21a, which only likes super hot ammo). I picked up 1 or 2 of those packs when I see them. I'm actually starting to run out of room for .22 on my ammo shelves. I think I need to do a full re-arrange.

I have two bricks of the Wally Win M22 I haven't torn into yet. Good to know it seems OK. I gave up on most Rem as it' pretty much the same as the CI crap they had at Cabelas for awhile. Never again buy t-bolt or Goldens even though that bucket sure is tempting.

This is true of both major parties. And at least most of the minor ones.

Yeah, the Rem Golden, especially out the buckets, has been hot garbage through my semi-autos (and that's all I have, pistols and rifles). I got rid of all of my Golden. I still do have a ton of Thunderbolts and they have mostly been fine, but they are dirty. Federal bulk is total garbage as well.

What has been good for me: CCI (duh) mini-mag (standard though doesn't have enough oomph for some of my semi-autos). Winchester M-22 (Winchester Super X has also been good, but since they are usually as expensive as CCI Mini-Mag, I would just buy the mini-mags), and to a lesser extent, Remington Thunderbolt in some of my guns, but not the pickiest.

    Guns that I shoot:
    • Ruger 10/22s - least picky, works with most everything, both my old 80's era base model and my newer stainless takedown
    • Beretta 21a - most picky, only likes hot stuff. Mini-mags work great, but it really likes CCI Stingers and Rem Yellow Jackets.
    • Sig Mosquito (now sold as the ATI/GSG Firefly)
    • Beretta 70S - also not super picky, but likes hotter rounds
    • Ruger Mark II with TacSol upper
    • GSG 1911-22 with ZR Tactical suppressor upgrade package
    • CMMG .22 upper (older model) to run on my M16 lower - this can be the pickiest when running full auto, but the Winchester M-22 does great here and it's way cheaper than the CCI Mini-mags.

I'd point out that it might be of interest to some to stock up on better 22LR ammo.

Like a lot of others, I bought whatever I could, as it became available. I accumulated a fair lot of bulk ammo that, as time goes on, I shoot less and less.

Now days I shoot 22LR mostly for accuracy and I have less and less use for the inconsistent shooting bulk ammo.

Agreed. And scary that they were elected. The main stream media has done well painting President Trump as a racist, sexist, and greedy crooked business man.
And the sheepeople have bought right into it.
Yeah and if you speak against the media you are labeled a tyrant or a nazi.
The media is NOT neutral. The media has a leftist agenda and is fair game as far as I'm concerned. Let them say whatever they like, but anyone else is free to say what they like about them as well
The media wants people to falsely believe that they are like the gospel or something. They have a self inflated view of themselves as much as any politician does. Just because the media says it doesnt make it true and if a person thinks it is then they are a dumb sheep being led to slaughter by either the media or the government. Take your pick

    Exactly.
And the same is true for all the people that get their news from facebook and other social media.
Very few people take the time to actually fact check anything. If someone they know says it, or they see a convincing post, they blindly believe it.

I only have my bolt CZ and a SW22 Victory. CZ seems to eat almost anything, accuracy obviously varies.

SW22 got super leaded up by the T-bolt. I couldn't believe how badly the barrel leaded (I posted an old thread on that).

I generally use Aguila as my "cheap plinker ammo-- it runs well and is surprisingly accurate and priced no worse than other bulk pack stuff.
