If I can put the G47 slide on a G19 frame... why don't they just make one with a G19 frame? G49??

It's not like I'm asking for a G49 MOS in FDE, that's a bridge too far. Black MOS slide and FDE frame? And front serrations? G49 works!

Or make an upgrade... G19L slide to allow us to effectively convert our 19s to 47s. .

Meh, most folks will piddle and piddle and piddle around with different variations and changes and "fixes" and all that. Build up a pile of holsters, accessories, parts and other specialized gear. Then after a couple years of fiddling, decide to come back to their original G19, maybe the Gen5 (my choice.)
