    Ok, got the fine cutting done. I might actually replace the crappy old wood baseboards with vinyl ones so there will be a better seal to the floor, and then caulk the **** out of them when I put them on.

    I think making them into glue may be more humane than dumping them. Sam is on the right track here.

    No, just between the bottom of the baseboard and the floor. Nothing that will show (but I'll use clear just in case).

    Yeah, I put shoe molding in the whole house. This bathroom needs a lot of work to get it to look nice. Right now I'll settle for halfway decent and not getting any more water damage.
